Investing a modest amount over four'ish years

I could possibly have some money I need to make work for me for a few years from a property sale.

Anyone who is in the position to advise by pm on the best way, I would be most grateful to hear from.

Looked at these at approx £2 per share and decided not to invest, what do I know!!

Put it into property or in your case leave it in property, shares at all time high and you don't buy at a high=they will eventually crash its's just waiting for the trigger, putting in a bank will very slowly erode your modest sum as inflation is higher than interest received....
