Why poor score? Fictitious address, wrong date of birth. Won't show up on your report because it's not you and who are you defrauding? I'd love to know why you're doing it. As previously stated if you don't want the car any more just tell them. Or is it that you only get the deposit back if you fail finance?

I promised a friend that I would credit a cheap car for him and he pay me back cash out of his pay. He's a good mate and I trust him but it just seems more hassle than its worth so I thought it would be easier if I fail the check than tell him no.PAULJ5555 said:

Trying to fail will get you a CIFAS marker very quickly - unless you use completely bogus details.
'Fronting' isn't an issue per-se, but YOU are liable for it, there's no crying to the bank because best mate is ducking you - take it from me, people are refused credit because either they can't afford it, or have proven that they're not reliable, excuses are like a

I know I'm too kind for my own good, I will just tell him no as it will show as more credit on my good record and at some point they will say no when I want somthing for myself as I have maxed it all out. He will be cool about it.Trying to fail will get you a CIFAS marker very quickly - unless you use completely bogus details.
