Xero Accounting software
Discussion
I'm an accountant and the firm I work for has around 120 clients using Xero now. Of all the accountancy software around at the moment we find it to be the best and have no concerns about it going anywhere any time soon.

Xero is good. Only thing that lets it down is reporting.
What don't you like about the reporting, just out of interest? The "dashboard" is rubbish. It would be nice when I log in to see right in front of me who is late paying, maybe a chart of income/outgoings across the year, maybe who my worst paying customers are, etc.
Then the other day I needed to find out what payments had come in and gone out for a contact (not a customer or supplier, just a contact). Couldn't do it. You can for customers and suppliers, but for some reason not contacts.
There is also very little in Xero that will give you performance over a given time - unless you're looking at a specific customer/supplier.
For collating data for the preparation of accounts there isn't much better. However it really does only give you the basics for tracking the performance of your company.

Came across http://www.kashflow.com/about/ today. A UK based company and half the price of xero including payroll.
