I am thinking of apply for a mortgage early next year, will mortgage lenders factor in DOTAS payments, I have my last 3 years sa302 forms however they do not show the DOTAS payments. My income was roughly 50 split between the two.

The are payments made under a "Disclosure of tax avoidance schemes (DOTAS)" which although are declared on your self assessment are not classed as taxable income.

Without knowing the full details, I can't imagine a lender taking income into account that does not show on an SA302....

Sarnie, thanks for the response, I suspected this would be the case. I will just have to wait a little longer or put a larger deposit down. Would you like me send you a scan of my DOTAS entry on my SA, you can have least say you have seen one
