Car finance and modifications

Just a question on getting car finance (PCP/Lease, etc) on a second hand car:


1) Dealers for brands provide this, but do individuals selling cars second hand accept finance? Is it down to personal choice? If I was selling a car, I would accept finance knowing that a company (Ltd) is paying me, not an unknown individual. I'd also guess it's the same thing i.e. the company pays the individual seller in full, and then the buyer takes the car home.

2) Do finance packages from dealers or third parties accept mods?
