Hi - been lurking for a while....
Anyway, i am looking to get a private loan from a friend of mine who has done well for himself who is a non-dom. The thing is his money is mostly tied up in Hong Kong. If he lends me the money to my UK account are there any implications to him or myself, outside of any details agreed in the loan between ourselves - assuming i receive from and pay the money back to his HK account?
