Hi, current arrangement is we contribute £100 monthly into a HSBC stocks & shares CTF. The pot has grown to approx £10-11k since birth. Child's age is 6.5yrs. From 6th April, a CTF can be transferred to a Junior ISA. Any benefit in switching to a Stocks and shares ISA?

Thanks smile

Only if you want to move that money into Funds or Shares not available via HSBC I would have thought. You'd have to sell out of those positions so you will need to time the leaving and then the re-entry of the market correctly when you move to another supplier.

Seems that you are getting good returns at the moment though

Thanks oldaudi. A point I'd not thought of - the "leaving and re-entry" bit. I'll take advice.
