Hello all,

I spend about £1000 a month on my credit card and clear the balance at the end of every month.

The card I use at the moment was chosen as it gave me 0% on balance transfers for a long time which was useful when I needed it, but now I am in a position whereby there is no lasting debt it is not as much of an advantage.

I could probably up the spending to £2000 a month and clear the balance just by using it more for every day purchases and not just bigger items.

Is there a good card that offers rewards for £1000-2000 a month expenditure?

AmEx Gold Rewards is free for the first year (£140 thereafter) and you get 20k rewards points for spending £2k in your first 3 months which you'll easily do.

Let me know if you'd like a referral code; It gets you an extra 2k reward points in first 3 months.

Cachback is pretty good if you spend 10k+ per annum on http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/cash... and no annual fee.

Quite good if you have to buy a train season ticket, as you get 2% cashback on travel (1% on most things, and 3% on dining) - https://www.americanexpress.com/uk/content/costco-...
