Hi

I bank with the Halifax - but i'm applying for a mortgage with Nationwide. As part of the application process - they asked for copies of bank statements.

Now I have online banking and have gone paperless - I simply printed the statements from my online banking facility and sent them through - however Nationwide are now saying they wont accept these as they don't show the https address on the statement.

I was wondering if anybody online banked with nationwide and could confirm whether or not Nationwide printed statements contain the https address (as it would seem a bit petty to reject the statements on this basis - if their own don't even show them).

Cheers

I'm afraid it does print off the Https at the bottom of the print out.

What browser are you using, you can turn on/off the footer with the address.

Can you not download them as .PDF and then print them as if they were a regular paper statement?

Should do , go to your printer setting and see if the "Headers & Footers" section has got a tick in it, if not Tick it.

If your using Chrome browser, you can do this from the print screen easy enough.

Check print/page setup/headers and footers. should have URL in one of the drop downs.

This is a local setting and not part of the Halifax service.

Cheers for the advice:

I have just tried printing at work and it does have the https footer - must be the way my home printer is set up.

They wouldn't accept screenshots and the only download option is for a .CSV file.

I found nationwide overly fussy when recently applying for a mortgage, I've banked with them for years but ended up getting my mortgage with Halifax
