Internet payment made with expired card

Hello guys,

My bank card expiry date was 07/15 but on the 1st of August in the early hours of the money I used it to place a bet. The bet went through okay and the funds were deposited into my account. I used paypal to do this. I was just wondering if I should expect a bank charge as I used my expired card to pay for the transaction ? I was sent a replacement card but haven't yet confirmed it on paypal. The account number and sort code are the same but the card number along with the expiry date is different.

Perhaps I am just being paranoid but would appreciate if you guys could advise

The bank have no reason or authority to charge you.

PayPal would have charged to the bank account using the details you had provided, not the bank card.
