transferwise.com - anyone used them?

Has anyone used transferwise.com to send money abroad? I need to pay a friend in USD and want to ensure I get the best rate/lowest charges possible. This site I’ve seen advertised on the tube but it seems pretty new so just want to ensure all is kosher. Sum is approx. £2800 sterling.

I've used them a number of times and have had no issues whatsoever. Very easy to use and the money goes across in a couple of days.

Used several times -good rates, money arrives when they say and much cheaper than a bank.
