Hi There,

I'm filling in my tax return and from my late fathers estate I get paid a small amount every 1/4 from one of his annuities, this annuity has sent me the p60 for the year, but I don't know which section I need to declare the net and gross figures in.

all clear advice would be welcome.

TIA

Is it a pension?

thanks for the reply all the document says is P60 end of year certificate, annuity paid by us (LVE), previous employment, final tax code.

ahh LVE = retirement solutions

so it does sound like a pension then...

the tax return section "Personal pensions and retirement annuities" is talking about payments to a pension/annuity
"other uk income" does not mention monies from a pension

so far i've listed it as "any other income" with comments to suit.

thoughts ?

It goes in the "Income from Pensions" section - you enter both the gross and tax deducted.
