going nuts at all the useless options here!!!!

used money for 100 years - LOVE the simple bills to come tracking that lets me forecast years ahead if I like.

dont like having no auto link to my online bank and no ipad app/cloud option.

what software can i use? happy to pay.

all the free stuff seems to go heavy on the "you spent £20.12 on shoes last month...try and budget" F**K OFF!!!!! I dont care what I spent last month....I need to see what I'll have left NEXT month based on simple projections!

I would love to find a replacement too for my Money2005 install. Yes bits of it are broken due to dependance on an ancient InternetExplorer version but the product was great for personal use with decent extra features for those of use who like to forecast and manage investment portfolios and small business.

The small business products like Quickbooks and Sage dont seem to fit the personal use, and the freebie online apps are very basic.

exactly!!!

Money just nailed it - a cloud version would be something I'd pay plenty for.

Ive used Quicken for the last ten years plus and love its simplicity.

Sadly, both MS and Intuit decided the UK didnt care about its finances and stopped updating the software.

Im reasonably confident that my 2002 Quicken still works on Win10 BUT I am surprised that there is no up to date software for home banking.

What about Microsoft Money Sunset?

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.a...

I am running this, and Money 2000? together due to the Win 10 issue with Money. Seems fine so far, if a little bit American, but I can live with that.

Its a freebie, which suits me smile

I've been using YNAB for a few years and I'd highly recommend it. It does try to force some rules on you but once I got the hang of it I found it very valuable. It's especially good at getting you to put money aside for infrequent bills.

I use Home Accountz now but it's not a patch on MS Money.
