how much contents insurance cover

[bompey]

I'm hoping someone on Pistonheads can point me in the direction of a site for working out how much insurance contents cover I need?

I know it depends on what we've got but is there a website or industry guideline for £x of cover per square foot of our house.

Thanks

Isn't it just a case of calculating roughly how much it would cost to replace everything in your house?
