Resigned from my current position and immediately put on gardening leave (great time of year for it!). Package included a fully expensed car including all fuel. Have asked to leave the car and take the car allowance for the period so also benefit from improved tax code- employer agreed.
Employer wants to settle the full three months salary in one lump on payroll day this month, how do I ensure I get the improved tax code even though I was receiving the car benefit up until Monday this week?
