Lenders for repayment of Help to Buy loan

Over the weekend the O/H had an appointment at the bank to enquire about a mortgage to buy our first house together. I have my own house which I am looking to sell in the new year, she has a flat in an extremely popular area which we ideally want to keep and rent out.

She used the Help to Buy scheme so our first hurdle is to pay off the loan, however NatWest (her current mortgage provider), informed us they do not offer additional lending for properties bought on the scheme unless you have owned it for 7 years or more (her property was only built 3 years ago).

Can anyone offer any advice on other lenders who may be able to help or suggest some other means of paying the loan?

The repayment amount is greater than I anticipate getting back from the sale of my property and would obviously leave us with nowhere to live and no deposit!
