Current bank account for a 9 yr old
Discussion
I'm asking here on the chance that whilst researching I might have missed one.
It looks like you have to be 11 or older to have a 'proper bank account' (current) with a debit card which is a bit of an issue as ours is only 9
I wanted to be able to transfer pocket money into the bank account and then my child could use the debit card 'like a grown up' when they wished to make a purchase in town.
Does anyone have an idea - I'd rather not have to have monthly charges either.
