Hi all,

Offer has been accepted on a house so hopefully we will be moving soon.

Does anyone have any recommendations for any contractor friendly mortgage brokers? Preferably without additional broker fees?

I have only been operating via my limited company for 1 yr 9 months so going direct to lenders is a bit limited as most want 2 years accounts.

Thanks,
Craig

Myself and other contractors I know use Alan Hall:

http://www.championhall.co.uk/

He gets his commission from the lenders so he doesn't charge a fee.

Based on your circumstances I'm pretty sure he will suggest Halifax, it's a very easy process though, usually you just supply your current contract and that's it.

Sarnie on here has been very helpful to me while in a similar situation.

I was in exactly the same situation, having only been contracting for a short period and Sarnie found a mortgage for us.

I've always used these guys - http://seicogroup.co.uk/

I have no personal interest in them other than the fact they've always been pretty damned excellent. Being a contractor has never been an issue, they've always provided me with a few options. Incidentally, I have recently moved house and they set me up with Halifax as mentioned above.
