CGT Accountant Darlington area

Having just sold a house that was our main home for 5 years but then a second home for 7 we think we may need to pay some CGT although hopefully not a lot.
Can anyone recommend anyone in the Darlington or Richmond (North Yorkshire) who can walk us through the CGT payment please.

I think Eric has put me on the right track, now slowly burying myself in paperwork.

I see there is a CGT calculator on the HMRC web site but it only seems to work for a single person rather than husband and wife.

All you need to do is split all the numbers into two.

You account for your share of the sale proceeds and costs and your wife does the same for her share.
