Where to find financial reports released by public companies

Struggling, and Google isn't helping.

Is it normal to pay for a service to have access to archives or do companies send them if you simply ask for them ?

On the Company's own websites?!

Go on their websites and find the investor relations link.

Annual reports for all UK plc and ltd companies are available for free through https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/

They are scanned copies so not as convenient as PDFs obtained from the company's own website. Main advantage is that that archive generally goes back at least 30 years.
