Unbiased but unqualified?

"Every pension pot you have will be managed separately, meaning each one has its own annual management fees. These are generally small, but they can add up. For instance, if you have four equal-sized pots and each has a 0.5 per cent fee, you are essentially paying 2 per cent. Combining your pots can reduce this kind of waste."

Am I missing something? 4 times 0.5%x is the same as 0.5% times 4x, right?

That’s bks.

If you have 4 pension pots each charging a 0.5% fee then you are being charged a total fee of 0.5% on your pensions.

Of course if there are some fixed (£) fees for each pot then these can indeed add up.

I'm st at maths but that's staggeringly wrong (unless I'm even more st at maths than I thought biggrin) confused
