I'm looking at my Barclaycard account and cannot find a list of the companies who I have a Direct Debit with. I've spoken to BC and they don't show this. Yet my Bank (not Barclays) account does.
Is there a difference between Credit Cards and Bank Accounts?

My First Direct account doesn't allow me to see any DDs set up on the credit card.

If you're concerned could you not simply cancel the CC and ask Barclays to issue you with a new one? AIUI this would prevent anybody taking further payments from the "old" Credit Card.

You cannot have a direct debit on a credit card account.

Continuous payment authorities on credit cards are nothing like as secure or switch offable as DDs. The bank cannot give you a list as they don't know with whom you have signed up.

Thanks, I asked the same question at work today and apparently you cannot have a DD on a Credit Card. It's a continuous payment a you say.
The only way to stop further payments to insurance companies or whoever is to write to them notifying them that you don't wish their next annual premium taking from your card.
