Investing - small change value

As has already been partly covered, there is no income tax or capital gains tax on any gains or income from an ISA.
You could set up your own S&S ISA as opposed to putting it into your Dad's, which doesn't seem to serve any purpose on the face of things. An S&S ISA is generally (but not always) the first port of call for anyone looking to invest, mainly due to the tax advantages.
I run a wealth management company, so like to think I speak from a position of some knowledge.
