What credit card now?
Discussion
I originally posted this in the Holiday forum but maybe here is more appropriate?
At the moment I earn quite a few Emirates Skywards miles every year by taking advantage of MBNA's affiliation programme but this as with other loyalty programmes is due to end.
I believe Avios is due to close too and be replaced with BA Executive Club but not sure on how to earn these miles/points.
The dilemma I have is that I fly to the Philippines twice a year, preferably into Clark airport, which leaves me the Emirates, Cathay or Qatar as my default airlines. I know I could fly into Manila with a greater choice of airlines, but anyone who's flown in there will understand why I prefer Clark.
I have enough skywards points to upgrade my next flight, but after that my loyalty to Emirates has ended.
Anyone have any suggestions as to which credit card offers the best airmail reward scheme, preferably not American Express as the main expenditure every month is with a company that doesn't accept that as a payment option.
