A topic I've seen discussed before when I searched, but nothing up to date.

I've used Excel for many years to track my personal fiances. But just looking at maybe using a dedicated accounts software.

I know Excel very well and use it a lot, but with having more accounts and assets to track now, it takes a bit of time to design and maintain the spreadsheets.

I use Sage in work, but it is probably a little overkill for personal use. It is also quite expensive for the software or subscription.

Quickbooks comes up a lot, but again might be a little unnecessary for personal finance.

Just curious what others do. Does anyone use Quickbooks or Sage purely for personal finances? Or other programs maybe?

Have you looked at You Need a Budget? I've used this for many years now.

Hadn't heard of that. It looks interesting though!
