Quick question that I can’t seem to figure out.

I bought something at the weekend, it was used and sold as seen so the retailer has no liability, it is also a small retailer that I use frequently so don’t want to get all CRA on them.
The said item needed a firmware update, I caught the plug with my foot during this update, and think I have fubarred it.

Can I claim off the CC company for accidental damage?

You can only claim against the cc company under section 75 for any rights you have against the retailer. as accidental damage is not covered under CRA you dont have the same rights against the CC.

You would only be covered if you have an insurance that covers accidental damage
