My business earns in USD, this is done via stripe and paypal then converted to GBP
Are there any benefits to opening a UK based USD account and holding deposits in USD?
Live and work in the UK - just my area of business has most customers in the US so everything is priced on website in USD...

Do you have expenses is USD too? That would be the main reason for holding a USD balance I think.My business earns in USD, this is done via stripe and paypal then converted to GBP

Also, check what the USD-GBP conversion costs are. You might be better off receiving USD then converting it via a broker/third party service rather than your bank.
