Euro savings/investment?
Discussion
Anyone got any knowledge of savings, or maybe investments, in the Eurozone? Savings accounts seem to be offering about 0.05%, and current accounts here in NL don't pay interest at all!
A bit of internet searching found Raisin, which appears to be a way to have savings on other countries banks, which is showing whopping 0.75% in Poland, but can't see anything better.
Basically I've started a new job paid in Euro's, and would like to at least have some kind of savings account, and maybe longer term look at investments, but am reluctant to transfer to savings in GBP and be at the mercy of exchange rates.

Unfortunately interest rates are negative at the front end of the curve - many institutional investors are being charged for holding cash (negative interest) and short-dated money market funds still have (small) negative rates of return.A bit of internet searching found Raisin, which appears to be a way to have savings on other countries banks, which is showing whopping 0.75% in Poland, but can't see anything better.

If you can get 0.05% then that’s not bad in the circumstances!
