You're not the average man on the bus.

Most are working out how to get to the end of the month rather than maxing isa or pension contributions.

As above, if you can even think about maxing pensions, ISA’s for two people you are certainly not average salary ‘Joes’.

Most people struggle to keep a positive balance month to month.

Why does it matter anyway, spend it and enjoy it or save it and wait for the day you spend it, everyone’s situation is different l.
