I will need a couple thousand dollars at the end of the month.

Im a little unsure whether to get them now or end of the month.

When May doesn't get the ok regarding her Brexit deal next week, will the dollars/GBP tank?

So those I the know, do I buy now or after?

Cheers

I don’t need until June, but blinked and bought £2.5k worth on Friday. Just decided a no deal outcome could make for a much more expensive holiday and hedged things a bit.

That’s a bit like asking which horse to back in the 2:30 at Doncaster.

Some of us don’t know the answer to your question. Others don’t know that they don’t know.

You've answered your own question. The market expects that she'll lose the vote, so that result is already priced in.

However, the slim chance that she will win the vote isn't; GBP would strengthen on such an outcome.

As the amount isn't life-changing, I'd just wait until you need them. But, if you want to hedge your bets, buy half now and half after.
