Hi all,
I am after a little advice. I check my pensions 'fairly' regularly. On my current pension, I noticed no additions had been made in November and none in January yet (it usually gets added on the 20th of each month). I checked with our payroll/ accounts guys at work. They confirmed payments and details had been sent to the pension provider from our company. They also checked their own pension account and found the same situation (ie no additions in November or January). They contacted the pensions company who stated they would correct the error.
I had written to the pensions company last week but had no response.
Should it fall to the individual to make sure payments are processed/ added to their pension? Should I be worried? Should I report further? Or just keep an eye on future payments?
It just feels a little amateurish/ shambolic.
Mike
PS the pension company is not a big name (AFAIK)

What do you mean by "pension company"? Is it a company responsible for the administration, or is it something like an insurance company or investment manager?

I am not up on all the terms, but these guys have my pension. It is then invested in bigger named funds - although it is not that clear TBH.
