Can anyone advise on the calculation of share prices - for example if a share is listed such as 833.60 what cash value per share does this actually mean ?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply guys.

It means more or less you can sell for 833.60 per share less trading costs or am I misunderstanding the question?

Share price are normally listed in pence so 833.60 would be 8.33 pounds

Although some shares can be listed differently. For instance, a USA company I have an investment in is listed in US$ and is currently shown as 82.45 per share.
