Expat mortgages

I used HSBC Expat. You need to open an Expat bank account with them which is the same as their Premier account service. Unfortunately this means you have to put £60k in an account or investments with them for the duration.
The plus side is you can hold different currency accounts and transfer funds between them easily which is useful if your going to be earning non sterling overseas.

Are you currently renting the property out?
Hi Sarnie, I was just about to email you based on recommendations on here. I was renting it out but it's empty at the moment. I'm happy with it being empty or rented as long as my monthly outgoings are manageable based on my income abroad and UK savings etc.

HSBC expat sounds interesting as I'm with HSBC both sides of the pond. I'll follow up with them.Gassing Station | Finance | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
