Insurance - impact of job
Discussion
Hi, we are all aware that when buying car insurance, one of the questions that helps derive the level of risk for the broker, is 'Employment'. I have always had a clear answer to that question; I have offered the job title according to my employer - for many years, 'Project Manager'. I'm now looking to move via VR into semi retirement. Perhaps some Project Management on a consultancy basis, perhaps some shelf filling in the supermarket, perhaps some gardening - no firm plans. I started to wonder what job should I offer to the insurance broker. I don't wish to lie, but nor do I wish to inadvertently pick something that will unnecessary attract a high premium.
Does anyone out there have access to the relative risks against jobs? Is there any 'safe' advice?

I went through a similar process a couple of years ago and found the attached. The difference that seemingly similar job titles can make is remarkable!
