Knowing the UK shares are undervalued for obvious reasons I was wondering what funds people would recommends to get exposure to a soft or no Brexit.

I know these scenarios are not widely thought to occur but I am willing to make a small punt on a fund that could see an upside to these eventualities.

I personally think with parliment in a bind come October not sanctioning a No Deal. We will have another EU extension followed by referendum as the Conservatives are so unpopular at the moment to risk a General Election ( which incidently would not solve the issue).

Large financial services firms have based (and largely implemented) their Brexit plans on the assumption of a hard Brexit. I would expect any large manufacturing and retail firms to have done the same.

There's the potential for higher tariffs in some cases but this may be offset by exchange rate movements or lower tariffs elsewhere.

I'm not aware of any fund managers that are taking a bet on such a binary outcome. That's not really investing.

Maybe you'd be better off looking at spread betting - I've seen one that offers opportunities in companies / fx rates and indices that they believe are most likely to be influenced by the Brexit outcome.

I put a few thousand in Lindsell Train UK Equity last year for similar reasons. It's done pretty OK til now and given any sort of deal I think it will do much better.

For no deal Brexit I have no idea.

Yes I have been watching this stock since the beginining of the year and regret not putting money into it. I thought leaving the EU would come down to the wire and that would be an opportunity to buy. I waited and been waiting for a pull back to buy with none yet. I am also watching CFP UK Buffology as that has a very similiar trend line to Lindsell UK Equity.

I will keep watching this stock as I am sure there will eventually be a pull back or I may put half in now and keep half for the pullback.

I lost money on etoro and since have learned my lesson to avoid spread betting and like. Tempting as it is , I resist.
