Has anyone else had a letter from Lloyds about a refund of charges from 2017?
Got one yesterday with a cheque for just under £600. Apparently they (along with Halifax and Bank of Scotland) got in trouble for not telling customers about interest rates dropping or something.
Phoned Lloyds to check it isn't a dodgy letter and its not! Not quite sure how I've got a refund as its only my direct debit account and only has a £50 overdraft but not complaining!

Read this at work earlier and wondered if I would have a letter when I got home.
Opened a letter with a £591.75 cheque!
Interesting to see you don’t have much of an overdraft with them though. Have £3.5k on one debit card and £1k on the other (at the time anyway) so thought I’d have a fair bit more.
Letter relates to only one of the cards too, so wondering if I’ll get another letter soon.
Still happy though :-D

What account do you have?
Just got off the phone to them to see if I’ll have a refund on my other account. He seemed to think their wouldn’t be a refund as it was a classic account, where as this refund is on my club Lloyd’s platinum account.
Even though it states it’s about interest and charges which I have on both accounts?!
