China's STAR Market

Long time lurker here.

A few articles this morning on the launch of China's version of the Nasdaq yesterday, i.e. the STAR Market. I first read about this a few weeks ago, and quite understandably there weren't any trackers or funds around at the time to have an initial dabble in.

Sounds like an index tracker will be launched in the coming weeks:

While this won't be a core component of my portfolio anytime soon, it's certainly caught my interest. Anyone else looking at this?

Wasn't really listening this morning but I understand it's small start up companies that can get funding quicker with less regulations. Some of the new listings were up 200% this morning!!
Think I can see where that'll be going in the next few months
