Hi,

a company I am involved with (and own 10% of) could benefit from a cash injection to help capitalise on some growth opportunities.

I was wondering if I can use some money from my SIPP to either buy shares or to loan to the company.

Appreciate the devil will be in the detail but was wondering if anyone with SIPP experience has come across anything similar.

Cheers.

Does it own property? How much we talking about? The fees could be quite large. There may be other ways.

Cheers

So you are probably looking at a commercial loan from your SIPP to the LTD.
Its not something I know much about so cant really suggest anything further but you are probably going to need to cover a few different fees, legals, contracts etc.

The whole area is an absolute nightmare and best avoided, to be quite frank.

If you would like some technical guidance on why (and what options you may have) then please feel free to post on the IM sticky at the top of this thread (that is what it is there for!).
