I've got about 4 pensions from moving jobs roughly every 3 years i'd like to combine into one so that i've got a bigger pot to manage instead of lots of little (below 8k on all) i think.

I was looking around and came across https://www.pensionbee.com/ . I was wondering if anyone has used them before or whether they can suggest somewhere else for me to put my pension? HL maybe?

Their fee's are 0.5% yearly management fee for anything under 100k and then whenever i move companies if i do i can then just pop it into here.

Any recommendations on this would be greatly appreciated.

Just to add although i've read the "how to own the world" book i'm still really new to it so will either want a managed service or somewhere I can choose some funds to invest it from doing some research.

Nothing wrong with PensionBee at all. I would check the past performance of this tracker though as not all trackers are equal (I am not implying there’s is no good, I just can’t see any data on this, which is quite unusual).

I know nowt about Pensionbee - are there fund charges to ADD to that 0.5% (I suspect yes), and my funds are currently with a work Aviva scheme that gives me low cost choice of over 80 funds.....

In your shoes I would first look at what my current employer scheme does - most match to a certain amount, some have discounted schemes etc - if that sounds good, you can consider moving them into that - ie, the scheme I assume you pay into now.....

Or.....if your scheme doesn't look that interesting, I would suggest JulianPH is being modest in his response: you should take a look at the sticky thread on this sub-forum for IM (a company he is responsible for!!) - they have pretty easy to understand offerings, are straight talking (see the input he adds to this & other forums!), offer a 'client manager' who is also straight talking and helpful, & are low-cost! IMHO.....

Thanks Mike.

You are also spot on in suggesting the OP should first look into what his current employer scheme offers (I missed highlighting that).

OP - If you would like a third party independent comparison of your existing schemes just give us a shout. There is no charge/fee.
