Chart with two variables

Not sure what forum to post this in...

Working on a puzzle to present the below equation with two variables graphically / in some sort of chart.

I have made an Excel Data Table which gives me the outputs I expect but I can't help thinking that a chart might help present this.

Had a quick look at demos.com but maths was never my strong point.

The formula can be expressed as P = 12 - (5.4-(x+y))*1 - (4.6-x)*1.5

P should be capped at max. 12, x is always positive, y is always positive



Any bright ideas?

A Surface Chart is probably your best bet.

Autograph (3D) would present this function of two variables as a surface in the first octant, I’ll try this at work tomorrow!
