Any recommendations? I've been looking at HL and wealthify, HL looks to be more involved having to pick funds, not sure I'd know where to start with that. Only looking to add £25 each child each month which limits the isa's available as a lot seem to be £100 minimum.

I found AJ Bell to have lower ongoing charges, so went with them (I use HL for my own accounts). There is a transaction fee though I believe with AJ Bell, so I am just going to pay it all in at the end of the tax year.

Good experience with them so far.

I've got one with Vanguard and one with Intelligent Money.

Ours is currently with Vanguard (direct) in VLS 80. I believe you should be able to pay in £25 a month as there doesn't seem to be a restriction.

Vanguard's minimum is £100 a month I'm afraid:

Intelligent Investor seem to do £25 a month, although I haven't looked at the charges:

Interesting as I have invested less than £100 a month with Vanguard previously and it lets me run through a dummy order (as far as getting to the payment screen) for £25 with no warnings of a restriction.

Edit: Regular (automatic) investments appear to be from £100 but one time contributions don't seem to have a min limit.

Hi Julian, not sure that link is actually correct as I have set up a £25 monthly contribution to my daughters JISA in a Vanguard Life Strategy and it hasn't flagged up as being under the minimum?

On that link you sent it also specifies a minimum lump sum contribution of £500, but I put a £130 lump sum in a couple of months ago without an issue?

Hi James, I just posted what their website says. Perhaps they simply don't have any software logic to validate minimums...?

Could be good news for the OP though!

Agreed, I think the link is misleading/needs updating with correct info!

Evening all,

Waking this up as I'm now in the same boat, well I've got a new born and would like to stick a bit away each month and drop in any money they are given as gifts. Playing the long game probs til adulthood.

OP did you make any progress / decisions?
