Ex employer in administration. Pension PPF

Do you have a defined benefit (final salary) pension with your old employer or is it defined contribution (money purchase)? From what you have written it looks like a DC pot?

The PPF only covers DB pensions, any DC pot should be unaffected I think.

If it is DB, the PPF member website will tell you everything you need to know. These things do tend to take 1 - 2 years to sort out.
