selling a physical share cert . anglo american ZAR rand.

hi ,

i want to sell the above for my dad , can anyone recommend the most painless way please.

i tried his bank. barclays. no joy . they only seem to deal in uk stocks.
also the share centre were not able to transact.
maybe the cert needs to be dematerialised first?

These guys were able to sell my AngloGold certificated shares a while back, not cheap but had the usual runaround by the low cost brokers etc.

I presume your shares are listed on the LSE, if only JSE then need to speak to a South African broker like FNB or similar.

thanks for the swift reply. i will look at this firm.
i dont think the stock is LSE , DIVIS are always in rand ... the isin is ZAE000013181 (HOLDING OF 412)
