Bankruptcy as a result of Covid-19

Hope you're all well as can be at the moment
A couple of questions for the knowledgeable PHers:
1. If your spouse goes bankrupt, are only assets that are only in their name at risk from creditors? Is the other partner's assets/cash/pensions at risk by reason of their married status?
2. For the spouse being bankrupted, if they are already drawing a pension as a result of a career in emergency services (police in this case) is that pension also at risk from creditors/bankruptcy? Or is it protected?
