How would I buy shares in Porsche?

Any suggestions, and can you buy shares in someone else's name and give them to them?
Lovely idea but generally a bit of a 'mare. They would need a brokerage account somewhere to hold the shares, you would have to either buy and transfer them - do you have a brokerage account ? - or give them the cash to do it themselves which is less 'giftlike'. And are they a minor ? Extra aggro if so. And it is all electronic, you don't have a tangible certificate to frame on the wall any more.OP may be interested to know that customers of Hargreaves Lansdown can deal online in the shares of Porsche Automobil Holding SE.

HL say, "Buy & sell Porsche Automobil Holding SE shares today. Invest in shares from only £5.95 and never more than £11.95 per deal."

Pity his affection is not for Aston Martin, rather than Porsche.
You can buy a few shares and also have a share certificate (to frame if you want to).
Can even buy in your own name (with certificate), then transfer to a minor, but that would have to be as a 'designated account' (ie. showing a parent name followed by child's initials A/c.).
Possibly unwise to buy more than a handful of shares though. They have been technically bust eight times in 107 years, and have hardly ever made a profit. May not be a publicly quoted company indefinitely, so the opportunity to obtain a share certificate might be limited.
