Transfer junior isa - parents name

My son has a Santander junior isa his mum opened it for him and statements comes to her and master xxx. I want to transfer it to NSI junior ISA so I was going to open the account for him, however will having it in my name and master xxx on NSI cause an issue on the transfer from Santander in his mums name?

Yes, his mum is the 'authorised signatory'.Ta
You will need to either change this with Santander (she will need to sign) or she will need to open the account with NS&I.
Regardless, depending on your son's age, an investment based JISA may be a better idea?
