Finding old work pensions?

Not sure if anyone on here can help

I had a couple of different jobs back in the early to mid 90s both with big organisations but can't remember if some of my salary was used to pay into the company pension schemes.

Is there a way of finding out at all?

I'd guess that old pensions would be going to an old address, so no way of getting details from that either?

I think just googling your old employer, and chase it directly from them, or if they have been taken over, try to track through who now administers their pensions. Worth it though - recently I was traced by admins for a pension from my first job in the eighties. I paid in very little as I recall, but I got a valuation and it was worth about 10 times I thought it might.
