New kid in the block?
Discussion
This article popped up in my Google news feed on the Blue Whale Growth fund. Have read snippets on this fund rising up the ranking for the past years so it's making all the right noise in the media.

Below are more recent media articles (or adverts depending how cynical you are..):

He's clearly benefited from his weighted stance in Tech which has seen unprecedented growth in recent years, but how long will this sector continue to grow? I have my views on active management (with 89% / 11% passive v's active split on my own portfolio), so big question remain whether this newbie (fund is only 3 years old) can top the performance ranking in 10 years time. However, I do like his response on "what don't you like" where he avoid Co's with low return on capital (just like Fundsmith).
Personally, his fund is too racey for me (I'm old..), but if I was 20 again, I may consider throwing a few k's in the long stretch.
What do you think?

certainly is making all the right noises but I guess the question is what is his future direction, either its to stay in the big players or look for new up and coming companies in the tech field.
This very much reminds of me ARK Invest which has a bull case for tesla going to 7k USD.
Again I find it hard to remove the smoke and mirrors sometimes - i guess they have proved over the last 3 years but many have done that and then its flop.

Pretty broad standard brief which I suspect he copied from a factsheet in a previous role
In selecting investments for the portfolio, the Investment Manager will identify companies which, based on its analysis, meet the following criteria:
have the ability to grow and improve profitability over the long term;
have a current valuation that is attractive relative to their future growth and profitability;
The Investment Manager will select companies from a broad range of geographies and sectors with no particular sector or style bias
Personally, the fund doesn't appeal, but I will keep an eye out to see how he performs over the next few years.
