As a huge percentage of the toys are inextricably linked to many of the funders out there, I wonder, of those that felt the need or initially thought it was a good idea to take the offer of an early Covid-19 payment holiday, now that the accountants & office mice are getting back up to speed - What unfair or harsh treatment has been experienced by any borrowers...or is my question a month or two - early?

I took one and it’s just extended my mortgage term by 3 months plus whatever interest that includes. I think car finance is the same

Had the option to increase monthly payments to cover it in the same term

Also have the option to pay a lump sum.

I didn't need to, but took the holiday by accident, kind of out of FOMO! I'm not good in a crisis....

Ended up paying a lump sum to catch up. I think it might have buggered my credit rating as I had an application involving a credit check refused for 'missing payments' and can't think of anything else it might have been...

Thankfully didn't have to take a payment holiday. Income dropped by circa 55% for 10 months but maintained same level of deposits into my S&S ISA and the Mortgage.
