Best way to get money from USD to GBP

I have a small amount (1,000's) of USD coming my way, whats the best way to get it into GBP, cheap! This is a one off.

Currently it seems Transferwise is the best with a $7.50 fee and FX of 0.75726, beats Revoult's £80 (or £25/monthly) fee and 0.756

Setup a transferwise account with US account, get it transferred to that then convert to GBP, withdraw...

I'd say TransferWise. I've used it several times to send from my US$ account to my UK bank account. No problems.

Same, but I've also used HiFX, no idea if the fees in this case will be better than Transferwise.
